KeyVue or Effytool?

Checked on

Effytool is a business platform for several sectors, covering projects, sales, HR, invoicing and BI reporting on your processes. KeyVue is built for estate agencies and reports on leads: which source, branch and agent produce sales instructions, and what commission referrals carry. Both provide business reporting, but about different things.

What Effytool does

Effytool is not agency software but a platform for running the business. It sells to seven sectors and covers projects, sales, HR, invoicing, reporting and marketing.

For estate agents, Effytool configures processes such as "sale of existing homes" (translated) or a marketing process. The BI reporting shows dashboards on those processes. With features such as a leave module and time tracking, Effytool also targets the internal organisation of a business.

On business reporting, Effytool is a serious alternative to KeyVue.

What KeyVue does

KeyVue brings together leads from Realworks and your other sources, with the source recorded for every lead. Leads are passed on to your marketing platform, your mortgage adviser or a fellow agent, and KeyVue tracks what a referral produces. The reporting shows conversion by source, by branch and by agent. More on the product page.

Where the difference lies

Both systems provide reporting for the owner, which is what makes them comparable. The difference lies in what they report on.

Effytool shows how the processes you have configured are running, such as the sale of existing homes or a marketing process. KeyVue shows where those sales instructions came from: which lead source, at which branch, through which agent, and what a referral to your mortgage adviser produced. On Effytool's own product pages we found no reporting by lead source and no referral commission.

In other words, Effytool's report ends roughly where KeyVue's begins. If both questions matter to you, the systems can be used side by side.

Price

Effytool prices in three tiers, according to its own website (September 2026):

ComponentMonthly rate
Package per person (with volume discount)Start €9.98 to €15, Plus €21.35 to €30, Pro €38.50 to €55
Per configured process€400
Per integration€150

BI reporting is included from the Plus package. An agency with 30 users on Plus, two configured processes and two integrations therefore comes to €1,740 to €2,000 per month. The leave module and time tracking are in Pro; the same thirty users on Pro come to €2,255 to €2,750.

For thirty users, KeyVue costs €150 plus 30 times €39, €1,320 per month in total. With the Reporting module (€400), that becomes €1,720. All amounts exclude VAT. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.

When to choose Effytool

  • You want one system for processes, invoicing, HR and reporting.
  • You want leave and time tracking in the same package, which requires the Pro package.
  • You steer mainly by how your internal processes are running.

When to choose KeyVue

  • You want to know which lead source produces sales instructions at which branch.
  • You refer leads to a mortgage adviser or fellow agent and want to track the commission.
  • You work with Realworks and aren't looking for a new system to run your business.

Frequently asked questions

Effytool charges per person (€9.98 to €55 per month, depending on the package and volume tier), plus €400 per configured process and €150 per integration per month. An agency with 30 users on Plus, two processes and two integrations comes to €1,740 to €2,000 per month, excluding VAT.

Effytool is a horizontal business platform sold to seven sectors, estate agents among them. It covers projects, sales, HR, invoicing and reporting. It is not agency software like Realworks; for estate agents, it configures processes for running the business.

Effytool reports on processes: leads, viewings, deals and revenue per branch. KeyVue reports on origin: which lead source, at which branch and through which agent a sales instruction came in, including the commission on referrals to a mortgage adviser or fellow agent.
